Hey all! Here’s a little update on the last 2 weeks:

We’ve settled in to our routine here. The communities we volunteer with are starting to feel like home and the idea of leaving in a week is bittersweet. My heart is so full from the children here. Three weeks into being here and I’m still being greeted by little kids wanting to give hugs!

It’s not always easy. I said in my last post that I was feeling sick. Whatever I had is still lingering. It’s hard to wake up some mornings, but by the time I see the kids it all becomes worth it. Kevin is one of my favorite kids! He’s 4 years old has an orange bike that looks like I could ride it (it has training wheels on it too)! He always rides around while the older kids are doing soccer warmups and then watches the game from the sidelines with his hands on his hips. He told us that he loves to play soccer but is too small to play, so one day after lunch some of us went out to play with him.

God’s goodness is so clear here in Guatemala! Please continue to pray for the hearts of the children here and for the health of the team!
